Teaching Global Competence in the Elementary Classroom

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Global competence refers to the knowledge, skills, and dispositions necessary to navigate and succeed in today’s interconnected world (World Savvy, 2016). In this session, participants will learn how to connect students with the world by using technology and literature to inspire students. Ideas and examples shared in this presentation ask students and teachers to THINK about the world in which we live, LEARN more about how we can connect globally and take part in global projects (DO).
