The FUNdamentals of Integrating a Video Game into Your Classroom

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

The successful implementation of a video game in a classroom can be a transformative experience for teachers and students. However, many educators are discouraged to take the plunge because of their lack of experience and a range of perceived challenges like access to technology, meeting standards, designing assessments, and getting buy-in from parents and administrators. Paul Darvasi will draw from over a decade of experience of integrating digital games in diverse instructional environments to help teachers address these issues and add an exciting new dimension to their practice. He will map a path and provide a series of concrete steps to guide educators on their epic digital age journey, no matter what the subject or age group.
