This workshop primarily focuses on the areas of digital age literacy from a variety of perspectives. First, the session addresses the need for students to develop appropriate digital age fluency as well as represent their knowledge in a creative and innovative manner. For teachers, this session provides strategies for developing a myriad of digital age learning environments in which the focus can be anything from project-based to utilizing these methodologies for assessment. The curricular foundations addressed in this session primarily focus on elements of narrative writing, visual thinking strategies, observational literacy, applying techniques for a well sequenced story of events, and making strategic use of media.
