Teaching with Story Maps: Finding Spatial Perspectives Everywhere

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Story Maps add spatial thinking to just about any subject by combining spatial data with text, images, video, and audio to create deep understanding of a topic or issue. This session will show how to find pre-made Story Maps and create a solid learning experience for your students in just about any subject area. We’ll introduce geographic inquiry skills and teaching techniques that help your students analyze and evaluate spatial information. You’ll leave with some ready-to-go tools.
