Making Culture: Changing How Students Experience Learning LIMITED

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Limited Capacity seats available

Why does your school exist? What is the number one reason teachers come to work each day? How frequently are students so engaged in what they're learning that they lose track of time? How similarly would teachers, students, parents and administrators respond to these questions?

In this session, participants will discover how answers to these and other questions led to the implementation of a shared vision and narrative for problem and product based learning at Chippewa Middle School. We'll discuss how to create conditions necessary for shifting your school's learning culture, and deepen understanding of how through making and problem solving, any school can produce world class learners capable of close observation, inquiry, empathy, wonder, design, and problem solving.
